Description

Fathers are an often overlooked population in Alameda County, yet multiple studies show the important role fathers play in their children’s lives. In this training, attendees will learn ways to include fathers when working with families who have children 0 - 5 by using the Father Friendly Principles. Attendees will learn about the work of the Fathers Corps and discuss strategies and possible barriers to incorporating Father Friendly Principles into their agency.

This is the first training for Year 6 of the Alameda County Fathers Corps and the kick off for the brand new Father Friendly Provider Network training series.
